Softball Divisions

North Snohomish Little League offers (4) different divisions for softball players ranging in League Age from 7 to 14 years old. Girls ages 4-6 are eligible to play in our T-Ball divisions. (*if your daughter is 6 and has played (1) year of tball; she can be considered for a rookie sb team.) NSLL also offers (8) divisions for its baseball players.

The softball divisions are:

Rookie Softball (for players 7-8 years old*)
Minors Softball (for players 9-11 years old)
Majors Softball (for players 10-12 years old)
Juniors Softball (for players 13-14 years old)

Each of these divisions is described further below. Registration fees and deadlines can be found in our Registration Flyer.

Division placement is typically determined by your player's age as of the appropriate determination date (December 31 of the year prior to the season for Softball players). Unsure about your player's age? You can find more information about determining your child's league age under the "Registration" tab to the left. You can also use the Little League Softball League Age Chart or the Little League Age Calculator.

If you believe your child should play up or down a division, contact the NSLL Board at board@northsnohomishbaseball.com to discuss her situation and get registered in the proper division.

The NSLL Board holds two Parent/Player Meetings (where the players will meet their coach), one for kid pitch divisions and one for t-ball/coach pitch/machine pitch divisions. The Player/Parent Meetings are held during the week, typically beginning at 6:30pm at Centennial Middle School. The kid pitch Parent/Player Meeting is typically held in late February. The t-ball/coach pitch/machine pitch Player/Parent Meeting is typically held in mid-to-late March.
